Military

KAPI is fully aware of the challenges, requirements and operating methods of the military sector.
Since 2006, we have been installing all the power plants used by French military forces in overseas operations (OPEX), to meet their energy production needs around the world.

As a result, the company is able – in record time – to dispatch its expert technicians on site, handle the logistics and shipment of diﬀérents materials (including customs formalities) and commission robust, ﬁable machines that must be immediately operational.

KAPI also provides preventive and corrective maintenance for continuous energy production 24/7, 365 days a year.

Database

KAPI brings its know-how to companies specializing in living base management. Electricity production is the key point of an isolated base camp, disconnected from all electrical networks. All the services required for day-to-day operation depend on it: collective catering, water supply wells (including wastewater treatment), heating and air conditioning, communications and internet systems, laundry, cleaning, etc.

All these activities are essential to the day-to-day life of the men and women on a base, whether you’re on an oil rig on the high seas, on a scientiﬁc expedition in the Arctic, at a mining facility in Africa or on a military mission in the middle of the desert.

Sensitive environment

Sandstorms in the middle of the desert, snowfall, excessive heat or altitude… our teams, like our equipment, are used to the most demanding climatic conditions and weather phenomena.

Wherever sturdiness and resistance are required, we know and master the risks associated with the environment.

KAPI’s technicians, most of whom are former military personnel, are also experienced in missions in conflict and/or geopolitically unstable zones around the world. True “field men”, they have the ability to constantly adapt to the restrictive environments in which they operate.

Commissioning

KAPI supports you at every stage of the installation of your energy production system (hybrid power plants, generators, etc.), to ensure successful commissioning: feasibility study, audit, consultancy, installation, training, acceptance.

Thanks to its in-house design office, KAPI is able to carry out a power assessment either remotely or directly on site. This is an essential step in accurately assessing your needs, priorities and requirements, which will determine the most appropriate option to deploy for your project (plant conﬁguration, machine model and power, cable sizing, etc.).

Installation:
KAPI takes care of logistics, transport and installation. Our roadmap? To deliver turnkey solutions that are immediately operational for our customers.

Training:
On our premises or at our customers’ sites, we train the technicians and agents responsible for operating and maintaining the generators and power and hybrid plants we install. Better knowledge of these machines, by qualified and trained personnel, contributes to the efficient production of continuous energy.

Acceptance:
Operation by which the customer acknowledges that the product delivered complies with the order placed and that the solution implemented by KAPI is appropriate.

Expertise & Diagnostics

In the mechanical field: endoscopy, pressure measurement, vibration studies, metrology, oil sampling and analysis…

In the event of mechanical failure, KAPI deploys a whole series of rigorous tests and measurements aﬁn order to decipher the engine’s behavior and get it back up and running as quickly as possible.

In the electrical field, the aim is similar: to detect electrical malfunctions in a short space of time, in order to limit interruptions to energy production. To achieve this, KAPI uses all types of expertise – winding resistance measurement, PLC programming, network analyzer, etc. – to speed up diagnosis and problem resolution. – to speed up diagnosis and problem resolution.

Spare parts supply

Spare parts for motors, alternators… we make it a point of honor to find the original manufacturer’s part you need, not its compatible and adaptable equivalent.

KAPI provides detailed assembly instructions for an intelligent and truly “turnkey” supply of spare parts.

To facilitate on-site maintenance and servicing by the operator, we also supply specific tooling kits adapted to our machines and the configurations implemented.
